When our students arrive at school daily with unclean and soiled clothes, results in low self esteem, lack of concentration, lack of self-worth and/or the ability to focus on daily instruction. Many of our students come from homes with limited resources and/or may be homeless. Having washer and dryer services available for our students would allow the students the ability to have clean clothes which would build self confidence which allows the students to concentrate on their academics. Having access to laundry facilities also helps our students responsibility, independence, and career and life skills as they become life long learners.

About my class
