This area rug will make instruction fun and engaging. Students will have the opportunity to sit together and share their ideas with their classmates. The area rug will also be utilized as a sitting chart. Students will be assigned a spot based on how well they work with others, their height, and their individual physical and academic needs. The are rug is used to sit students for whole class instruction during story time, puppet show time, visitors time, and other Kindergarten targeted topics. Students will also sit in this area rug for show-and-tell and during holiday programs for the parents.
