With this purchase of 2 chromebooks, my students will be able to gain access to vital information in all subjects. Students will be able to visit websites (Newsela and IXL) that will help to advance their reading fluency, mathematical, and comprehension skills. Students will be able to produce their own videos and create google slide presentations. Students will have the freedom to access videos that will help to reinforce concepts learned in the classroom. My students all have unique learning styles and technology helps to engage each student in a distinct way. It is important to teach our students how to navigate technology independently. Students are constantly bombarded with an overwhelming amount of information. It is vital for students to learn how to conduct research and analyze the information that they can gain from technology. The classroom is the perfect environment to instruct students on how to utilize technology in a safe manner.
