Having the proper tools for students to use to focus causes a better learning environment. My students don't ask for much. They just want to learn. Here, you see students using a bungee chair and bucket chair to help them feel comfortable while reading. I also have a makeshift standing desk, a few pillows and headphones. I have lamps instead of the bright flourescent lights and I use plug in lavender scents to keep a sense of calm. On the screen, you will see and hear the sounds of the ocean, or a fireplace, or a nature trail. And yet, it is still not enough.
