My special education classroom is made up of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders with learning difficulties. My school is in a low income area and many students do not have the needed supplies for school. All three grade levels are in my classroom at the same time. Theirs abilities range from kindergarten to a 3rd grade level. Many of my students also struggle with disrupting behaviors and short attention spans. There are 14 students in my classroom at the same time and limited materials and staff. Due to the different levels of ability all instruction must occur in small groups.
