For years, we have been helping our students do that in Spanish and now to help them succeed we know they must have the opportunity in both languages. They have been finding and loving great Spanish books in our classroom but missing out on great English books. We want to encourage our kids to jump into the pleasures of reading and be transported to stories and places that they may only see through stories but mostly I want them to fall in love with reading. These books are not randomly selected but carefully chosen to compliment our thematic units of study and also to reflect our community.
