This Kindergarten classroom at a Title 1 school represents a diverse group of students with differing abilities, languages, needs, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and identities. Each student holds a unique set of passions yet they all share a love for learning and one another. They challenge and invigorate my teaching practice everyday to meet the needs of all my students while making learning exciting and relevant to each individual. It is important to me that I create a sense of community and belonging in my classroom. These students constantly inspire me with their willingness to practice empathy and lend a hand. They look out for one another and that makes my job so special!
