The materials in this project will help to engage my students in their learning. There are materials with bright, modern pictures which will help my language impaired students increase their background knowledge of various concepts. The real pictures used on the cards will help my to support my learners with concrete examples. Additional materials will help my youngest students learn prepositions by actually manipulating objects. This tactile learning can help them see and feel the differences between terms such as in and on. There are materials to assist learners in all areas of language, from syntax and semantics, to phonology and pragmatics.
