As an Intervention Specialist, many of my students are reading well below grade level. As a result, they have limited access to books at their reading levels. I am constantly looking for ways to get them reading actual books, as opposed to internet handouts. These Leveled Reader Book Bins will not only allow me to expose my students to a multitude of stories, but also better assist me with providing clear, direct instruction to my students with materials they will be able to access and understand independently. This project will not only assist them with becoming better readers, but also by introducing new skills and improving old ones.
