This material will surely help and motivate them to increase there Lexiles and Quantiles scores. It will give them comfort and create an area where they can read and create their own personal space for learning. This will surely encourage them to read more books during their independent time for reading in a Read 180 class. During there independent reading time typically my student will just sit on the floor, under the table or seating in the uncomfortable chair. Making students comfortable in seating motivates them to read more books to increase there Lexiles score. You can really see the differences between giving them an opportunity to learn in a way they were comfortable. My students will surely noticeably more engaging in reading and their would-be less disruption in their peers.
