Many of my 5th grade students struggle with reading. These kids have a hard time finding books that are interesting to them, but are still at a reading level that they can comprehend. And, they don't want their peers to see them reading "baby books". When researching options for them, I found the Red Rhino chapter books published by High Noon Books. These are perfect for my kids! These books have high interest topics, but low readability levels so students can understand what they're reading and stay with the story. I'm excited to add these books to my classroom library and give my struggling readers the options that they need.
