My hope is to have each student to have an opportunity to use an Apple Mini iPad. This will help alleviate congestion in the computer lab. My students will use the iPad minis for formative assessment which will dramatically improve student learning. Some free assessment tools that will be used are NearPod, Kahhoot, Answer Garden, and Padlet. Also, students will have extra time in class to complete Imagine Learning, and additional apps that reinforce math, reading, and phonic concepts. In today's ever changing world of technology, these two Apple iPad minis will help my students succeed. There must be balance between teaching and technology. The old ways of teaching (direct) needs to be enhanced with technology to help students prepare for college and/or the workforce. If they are to keep up with their peers around the globe my students must have every possible avenue to help them succeed. Thank you very much!
