The items listed within this flexible seating project will be used for my fourth graders who are filled with energy each and every day. Students learn when there is movement within the classroom and when they have the choice to sit in a working environment which best suits their learning style. I want to be able to provide flexible seating to my students to maximize their learning every day. My students will be able to either work on the floor on cushions and pillows, sit in desks with stability balls and wobble chairs, or stand with using standing desks. With being a first year teacher, I have gone way past my budget to set up my classroom. I am in need of community support and help to fund this project in order to give all 20 of my fourth graders the opportunity to be in a safe environment where their learning styles are valued, appreciated and maximized to guide them to success.
