My students will use the building blocks and magnetic blocks to work together to solve problems. Students will be given a task that needs to completed, such as creating a bridge to withstand a given weight. To complete the task, students will use the building blocks and magnetic blocks. They will have to think of a plan and carry out that plan. After they try once, they will have the opportunity to redesign their plan to see if they can come up with a different way to be more successful. Using these tools helps students to critically think and to think outside of the box.
