During small group instruction, we currently pull chairs from students' desks around the room to ensure we have enough seating. The chairs in my classroom are all approximately 20-30 years old, mismatched, some even slightly broken after years of use. We pull these across the floor daily which is quite a distraction, takes time away from our small group instruction, and proves to be a safety hazard sometimes. The metal stools I researched could be a safe, sturdy alternative, ensuring students move to small groups quickly and safely. They are also the best quality for the least amount of money.
