Being that I am a new teacher my resources are limited and that poses a challenge. The resources that I am requesting are leveled reading books and a read-along listening station that is developmentally appropriate for my students. These books and listening station will allow students to read books at their appropriate reading level and allow the student to feel successful with their reading. The leveled readers and the listening station will be both engaging and foster strong literacy skills for my students. To achieve my students reading goals, my classroom needs books, and lots of them, so the students can read every day! They will use the books during center time, free reading time, and silent reading time on a daily basis.
