Learning how to form letters correctly and without thinking about it is a skill that learners carry with them throughout their lives. These books are an excellent way for young children to learn how to correctly understand the shapes of the letters and write the alphabet. The language is simple to understand, and easy for the children to use. The children feel successful when they can write the alphabet, and express their ideas on their own. This success carries over into other writing projects in the classroom. Each day during writing time they practice using this curriculum and by the end of the year using Handwriting Without Tears their writing is beautiful!
