All of my students are excited to learn and for many of them this is their first experience with mathematical education. We have been exploring number sense using different methods. I have chosen this math manipulative to help my students deepen their understanding of number sense, addition and subtraction. They will offer each student hands on experience to explore numbers and provide me the opportunity to see what each student is doing . I will be better able to identify each child’s strengths. The rekenreks will positively affect my students work and provide a successful learning experience. This use of them will meet all students individual learning needs.
