Our students are 7th graders from various countries around the world. We have a wide range of culturally and linguistically diverse students. Some have had a lot of experience with English, some have none; thus, their reading levels vary greatly. All of these students have a bright spirit and a desire to succeed. They love to read, but the current Reading curriculum is set with grade-level materials, and with the variety of stages of English-learning, most of our students cannot read and understand the text. These students are ardent in their desire to succeed in school and make this world a better place. Accessible text is just one step on this road for our class.

About my class
