Students have a world of fictional books all around them everyday. The libraries are filled with books screaming for our students’ attention. It’s often hard to get kids excited about non-fiction material. In school we are limited to topical books, biographies, and autobiographies. Kids would be thrilled to read real-life current events and get NEW information every month! I want to foster that love of reading to learn! Time Magazine for Kids is a great resource to do this! It’s filled with real world articles that peak my students’ interests and keep them on their toes! They can’t wait to get their next issue!

About my class
