As a second year teacher, my library is still very minimal, with leftovers from other teachers and garage sale finds. I would like to expand it by adding some books the children have requested and more to the series they have loved. Our fourth grade children love the "Who is" and "What were" books, also the "I Survived" books. These books bring in history of people and places that connect to our curriculum. Some of the more advanced readers enjoy the Harry Potter series, and I'd like to make sure they are reading age appropriate materials. Children need not worry about food throughout the day. I'd like to take the food from the sharing table to save for later in the day or to take home for a sibling. The refrigerator will help to keep the milks, juices, fruits and yogurts cold.
