The math manipulative sets, including the base ten blocks, will be used during small group work or independent work for students who work best with visuals and their hands. The Word Work set will give students a fun way to learn new vocabulary and practice their skills. The Animals Nonfiction series from scholastic will be used during guided reading, since my students do not take science. My students need the tools that will help them learn best. This includes being able to move, hence the stability balls and bands for seating. This will give them the sensory time they need.
