I am only 22 years old and a first time teacher! I landed a job at my dream school and I am teaching a brand new mod/severe special education classroom! My students were sent from a different classroom where they had all the right supplies they needed to meet their sensory, emotional, physical and academic needs, to my classroom which doesn't have any of that! I am still in college, at night, finishing up my masters, while being a first time teacher, while trying to create and manage a classroom that is a perfect fit for my students! My students will benefit hugely from the use of a trampoline, sensory items, a bean bag to use in their break area, weighted blankets to reduce stress, anxiety, and calm them down, and everything else I listed! I am trying so hard to do the best I can with what I have but having some extra help would mean the absolute world to me and kids!
