My students come from a very low-income family. Last year, I financially dipped into my own wallet to pay for my students' supplies and toys. I remember the look on their faces when they saw new materials, supplies and toys I had purchased. They were beyond grateful and very interested in making great use of them. Every student deserves the right to have a new set of supplies, toys and math manipulatives for higher quality learning. Having new math toys such as building blocks or magnet tiles will allow them to dig deeper into their own creative minds because they're little engineers. I really hope to be funded with math toys such as math building gears, magnet tiles, ECR4Kids Math Manipulatives Building Kit and Legos. This will allow them to enjoy rotating centers during math time.
