Each student needs their own centers container with a lid. This ensures that they are the only ones who touch their manipulative and toys each day. Each student also needs their own book bin for their daily school supplies. This ensures that their tools stay in one, safe place and are easy to access. Because we had to remove desks from the classroom to accommodate 25 students, we have half of the classroom as flexible seating and half on dots on the carpet. The cushions will allow our students to sit comfortably on the floor, as they practice their skills each day. All rugs were thrown away post COVID and having a rug is essential in Kindergarten. This rug is a good price and will allow us to discuss the US states, mapping and locations each morning during circle time.
