For some of my students kindergarten is their first school experience and for many of them it is their first experience with other children. These materials will encourage my students to work together to accomplish a common goal. They will use these materials to build their creations together or even to explore different STEM topics in the classroom. These materials are of high interest to my students and will be used to teach social skills such as sharing and turn taking. The seat cushions will help some of my students who need to be a little wiggly when working. These cushions are a simple solution to keep them focused. The crayons and sharpener will help us complete our simple every day tasks. They will be especially helpful when we are working during kid writing, which is one of their favorite times of the day! They love to create new stories and tend to go through A LOT of crayons.
