My students are Fabulous! In my 5th-8th grade orchestras, I have a little over 100 students. We are from two communities. 5th and 6th are currently in a temporary location. Our school was flooded and declared destroyed in the 2008 flooding. The orchestra classroom was flooded to the ceiling. All music most school owned, instruments, and all accessories were destroyed. Through generosity and hard work, we are recovering and rebuilding the school! A new Middle School is slated to open August 2012; the orchestra classroom will be located in the gorgeous auditorium.
