In the 21st Century, my students are surrounded by technology everywhere they go. However, they haven't had very many experiences using technology as a tool for learning. By providing a classroom iPad, students will be able to use it in small group settings to learn and develop an understanding of how to use technology to learn and grow. Along with this, by using apps like Doceri, Jot, and Whiteboard HD, we will be able to make our classroom interactive. As a Third Grade teacher, I want to help my students to become lifelong learners and positive attitudes towards education. They will be surrounded by technology their whole life, so by integrating technology into the classroom, I hope to help them develop the skills and habits of lifelong learners.
