By having a laptop riser for each student we will insure effective keyboarding posture and strengthening of their core muscles to decrease fatigue and increase assignment output. Students on the spectrum require movement and comfortable positions to complete work without tiring and creating unnecessary stress. Currently my students slouch over their computers straining to hold their necks out like a turtle to see the screen or use multiple text books stacked up to rise the computer to a more acceptable height. Having the riser will give them the ability to stand or sit while completing work in a comfortable and efficient manner. We have been able to purchase a few riser and found them to be extremely effective tools for the students. Donating to a classroom set will insure each child the optimal keyboarding experience in their writing assignments across all curriculum subjects.
