Flexible seating allows students to make a choice of how to complete their independent work. Right now, students are given a variety of options in the classroom to work including working on the floor, carpet or different tables. Students tend to work better when they are given the choice of where they complete their work. I have noticed a difference in my students' work when they are more comfortable when they are completing that work. Through the use of yoga balls in the classroom, my students will be able to work around the room while also getting their wiggles out! The yoga balls will also allow for a more comfortable flexible seating option. These yoga ball chairs will get great use in my classroom and give me the opportunity to provide my students with a more flexible and interactive learning environment!
