All of my students have expressed interest in doing hands-on activities. The list of supplies I chose will help us be able to run many of the common labs that are done in majority of high schools. My students are so eager to "make explosions" and "set things on fire" and I think allowing to see how chemicals react with one another will engage them more and make them enjoy science so much more. Many of the supplies will also help them with concepts such as density and matter and I would love for them to see how these science concepts are all around them in the real world and I know that can start successfully in the science class!
