"The Hate U Give," by Angie Thomas, is a high-interest and relevant novel with social concepts and controversies my students can relate to. My hope is to offer my students a chance to read an award-winning novel that they will enjoy as well as provide them with a safe space to express thoughts and opinions about common social justice issues. Donating to this project will allow my students the opportunity to enhance their interest in reading as well as their global understanding and social competency. Your generosity and contribution will make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of my students.
