My classroom did not come equipped with a projector, which means my students have to rely on paper-based examples of fine art to learn, which in 2018 is severely limiting. Just the other week, we had to huddle around my laptop in order to get inspiration from one of our artists' videos. My hope is that lessons will be enriched, and allow students to immerse themselves more in the material, like deciphering brush strokes, and finding tiny overlooked details in complex paintings. Since visual information is so integral to the art experience, we would need an elmo for me to help guide them along lessons like perspective drawings and rendering still life.
