My students are inner city children in Baltimore City with different gifts, talents and abilities. They are so eager to learn, however, due to limited resources but a high demand to meet state standards, our students lack what they so desperately need too often. Our children come from all different backgrounds and are considered to be high needs students. However, with the right tools, they too can recieve a top notch education. Our students love to use their imagination and different genres of reading material help to expand their way of thinking and how they view the world around them. A classroom set of different level of books will increase our students desire to read while allowing them to read on their own level. The classroom set will also promote fluency and higher level thinking. Our students will be able to grasp comprehension by reading books of interest.

About my class
