Our 5th graders are transitioning to middle school. They now have P.E. everyday, but no recess, the bouncy bands allow for movement in core classes. Right now students are only allowed to fidget or move in P.E. class, bouncy bands give the opportunity to fidget and move without distracting others. Bouncy bands can help students focus on class material and not focus on staying still. Students will not have to loose class time to stretch their legs they can do so with the bouncy bands. Bouncy bands are the first step for our hall to have flexible seating. Flexible seating will allow students to choose a seat in which they are comfortable. Students take ownership of their learning by selecting seating that will allow them to be successful in class.
