These materials will help students discover, explore, create and learn about America and her history! A major theme this year will learning about how history studies the relationship between Geography and Culture. Students will learn about American history through the lens of different regions and peoples including Native American histories, Colonial America, the Civil War and many more! Our class community will frequently share knowledge with each other via poster projects. In order to be efficient historians, students will highlight main ideas in documents, and use evidence on their posters to support their claim. Additional paper and posters will be used for other projects, such as creating their own political cartoons!
