Like mentioned previously, my students suffer from moderate to severe disabilities that range anywhere from autism to cerebral palsy. I have students that need a sensory corner to be able to participate in class. All the materials listed were mentioned by some of their previous teachers as materials that have proven to help our students grasp material better. There are also several non-verbal students spread throughout my class that cold really benefit from these accommodations. My wheelchair bound students that can't really move their muscles greatly benefit from these materials, especially the water-beads. These materials do not only help them engage but it also helps with their muscles. This is my first year teaching cluster and am very nervous about not being able to afford the money to create the sensory corner out of pocket. Thank you all for making this possible.
