I am requesting two Chromebooks that will be used in a learning center for struggling readers. By donating two Chromebooks, two students will be able to log into BookFlix or Reading A-Z and select great stories which will be read to them as they follow along. They will also be able to write responses to what they read using the Chromebooks in the learning center. The Chromebook learning center will enable the students to have a choice in what is read. They can choose between fiction or nonfiction, and different genres using our school's online software programs. This self-selection fosters interest and more enjoyment of what is read. My goal also includes having my students exploring a personal written response to what they read by writing using the Chromebook. I would love for you to donate to this cause so that my students have a rotating alternative learning space in which to practice and improve their reading and writing.
