Creative and dramatic play is an excellent way for students to learn how to express themselves, connect their learning in meaningful ways, and integrate math and literacy concepts. As many of my students don't have access to creative play materials at home, it is vitally important that they have access to enough materials to support their play. We are excited to add Melissa and Doug's baking items to our classroom- this will help our students connect math and literacy skills in addition to helping develop social emotional skills. We are also excited to add the PicassoTiles PTC20 20 piece camping and Learning Resources fishing equipment to our dramatic play area to encourage all students to engage in dramatic play experiences!
