Drones are becoming one of the most used computing innovations with many possibilities in different fields. I want my students to experience flying a drone. I want them to learn more about how and why it was developed. I also want them to go into how the drones could be upgraded or updated to have more uses in society. My students come from low income households and will probably not get the chance to have this hands-on learning experience. The students are excited to learn more about the topics in computer science. Providing them with cutting-edge technology, will add value to their STEM education. These students are part of the Advanced Placement program. The headsets will be used daily because of the required performance tasks that is needed for the AP course.

About my class
