Students will build relationships with other students by playing games and collaborating to build a solid foundation to prevent bullying. Students will work together in a positive way while using problem solving skills, working in a way that promotes friendships, and creates a close family of positive personalities. The majority of our students come from low income families who have challenges meeting academic and emotional standards. By giving our kids other opportunities to play and problem solve with peers, it creates a culture of respect, acceptance, and appreciation. At risk students, much like ours, can come from troubling backgrounds where emotional needs aren't always met, but during the school day these children can benefit tremendously from games and activities that promote investigative skills and cooperation to work in groups.
