After a long year of Distance Learning, I expect my students to be excited but also anxious to return to the classroom. To work on our social emotional health, we will combine Yoga and Meditation classes with a gratitude Journal. I would like to encourage penmanship, and daily gratitude reflections to enhance emotional wellness and health. Moreover, after being tied to a desk all year, I realized that it is unbearable to sit for 6 hours a day straight, especially as a rambunctious Middle School Student. Since P.E. class also takes place inside ( yes, we do read fitness books and learn about nutrition), I want to offer them flexible seating, increasing their focus and improving their posture. Lastly, playing music during fitness and yoga classes always motivates and sets the mood. A waterproof portable speaker would be the perfect addition to our P.E. classes. I would greatly appreciate any support!
