Every day we have a reading period of 20 minutes after lunch to encourage students to explore and improve their literacy skills through reading books. To encourage more reading experiences, I wish for a classroom set of novels and non-fiction books. Students seem to enjoy reading about amazing world records, mysteries, adventures, funny graphic novels, etc. Because of our budget, we only have a part-time librarian on site with a very limited collection of reading books. Thus with your donation, any student coming through my classroom will be able an​ access a book that might spark their interest in reading and further their literacy skills.
