We will leave our school on a special coach bus and travel from Milwaukee to Madison. When arriving in Madison, first we'll tour the Wisconsin History Museum to learn about historical and industrial information such as the Wisconsin Woodland Indians and the lumber industry. Next, we will visit the capitol building to gain knowledge of the three branches of Wisconsin's state government. Seeing first-hand where laws are created and witnessing the beautiful and unique architecture, always brings many "oohs and aahs" from the children. Lastly, we conclude our day at the Wisconsin Veterans' Museum where the students will learn about the United States wars that Wisconsinites have fought in.
