Mutes are used by brass instruments to give their instruments a different sound. Composers will often call for several different types of mutes to give their music a completely different mood! Currently, our brass mutes are in a state of major disrepair - we don't have many to begin with, and what we do have is not useable. By donating to our project, you will help improve the quality of our mutes, our music and our student's education! My goal has always been to give the students in this small, rural community the same opportunities as students in larger, more suburban areas. With your donation to this project, we can make that goal a reality!

About my class
