My students face large challenges economically, but they have heart and determination. We are a Title One school that serves migrant farm workers and other low-income areas. Many of my students start the day in the field before school or watch younger siblings while their parents are in the field so technology is not an option for many of our students. Very few students have technology or computers available at home. If I am able to provide a tablet for each student during class, they will be able to reach a higher potential in their education. By providing the tablets daily, the students will have one less obstacle to overcome in their young lives to be successful. They will be able to focus more on learning. Every little bit helps.
