Many of my students are kinesthetic learners and would benefit from hands on learning! I am hoping to provide them with better tools for math and spelling lessons so we can all learn better together. Base 10 blocks and unifix cubes are just the start of what i am hoping to eventually provide for each of my students. Even simple addition can be a challenge for several of my kiddos because they need to be able to move something around as they're counting on... hence we are asking for unifix cubes. Place value is also extremely difficult, but it can become easier when students have physical tools to represent parts of a number. Lastly, my students need manipulative letters to help them learn new spelling patterns as well as to practice our spelling words each week.
