Did you know that technology can be hands-on? Students of all different learning styles have enjoyed the Osmo kits that we already have in the classroom. Osmo is an award-winning game system that changes the way a student interacts with the iPad by providing them with hands-on play. Osmo provides students the opportunity to learn in key areas such as: creative problem solving, art, and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). They are able to practice math facts, spelling, and geometry in a hands on way through technology. Osmo is a wonderful program that allows students to manipulate tiles, shapes, etc. and what they do with the tiles interacts with a iPad. Osmo offers additional resources that allows students to learn coding and allows artwork to come to life. We will use the new resources to grow our skills that will always be useful.
