The funds from DonorsChoose will provide my high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors with social emotional learning supplies, and Folgers edition Shakespeare texts to encourage student engagement with learning. After a year and a half of online school, students are craving interpersonal interaction and learning. I focus on blending technology we acquired over online school with tactile projects that require students to create, draw, write, and move around the classroom. This way they engage with the material using multiple modalities. Students are more engaged this way and retain more of what they have learned.
