My students come in eager to learn and ready to go. In order to help them in this process, I would like them to have all their materials readily available to them through the use of table top organizers and chair pockets. Having these items in the classroom will allow my students the opportunity to maximize their learning time and reduce the need to be out of seats and searching through cubbies. Introducing a daily system for attendance and lunch will allow my students to flip a card and get started right away with their school day. Kindergarten is such an important year for our children and we want to ensure that they kick it off on the right foot. In my classroom, I believe in promoting skills that grow independence and teach our students the skills that need to be successful throughout their school years.
